Spanish IV

 

This class is a continuation of the curriculum sequence begun in Spanish 1-3.  Skills will be developed via oral practice, written practice and increased emphasis on reading and literature in the target language.  Student effort to use Spanish during class will be strongly encouraged.  Videos, cultural presentations, films, and music will also be used to enhance students’ grasp of vocabulary and fluency.  Realistic, functional, and thematically-set communicative exercises provide students with opportunities to express themselves in Spanish. 

 

 

Four years of Spanish is a wise choice for students who plan to continue improving their foreign language skills at the college level.  This class provides a good opportunity to prepare for Spanish college placement tests.
